Welcome to the Capital Area Manufacturing Council

Established in 2004, the Capital Area Manufacturing Council is a growing community of manufacturers and associates who recognize the benefits of exchanging ideas to explore common challenges such as:

  • Employee recruitment and selection;
  • Workforce development;
  • M-TEC training opportunities;
  • Grant funding;
  • Healthcare and other benefit strategies;
  • Manufacturing costs; and
  • MIOSHA issues and regulations.

The Capital Area Manufacturing Council’s networking opportunities seek to:
  • Ensure manufacturing executives understand and act upon issues common to the manufacturing community.
  • Assure companies are aware of resources to address workforce issues, such as training.
  • Develop solutions relative to the current and future workforce.
  • Offer a forum to report significant trends that could affect manufacturing.
  • Educate other organizations and policy makers about issues relating to manufacturing.
  • Identify issues of common concern to area manufacturing organizations.
